Ahhhhhhhhh! Disaster

sobs...... I am so sad. I just went for my competition & I think you know what happened. Well, it was raining. I mean POURING!!!!!!! And they had to cancel the race!!! URGH!!!!! I didn't get to run & I cannot believe it!!! Mr Sheikh even said that we could have been the top 3 teams if not for the hateful RAIN!

Now for results..........

Good News
1) P4 boys 4 by 100m relay team got 2nd overall
2)Linus got 1st in 60m dash
3)Ming shun got 2nd for 60m dash and 1st for 300m race
4)Hei Mern was the top 8 runners for the 60m dash
5)Twins Yan Ying & Yan Lei did well in 60m dash though I'm not sure how well

Bad News
1)4 of our 4 by 100m relay teams did not get to run
2)P4 girl 4 by 100m relay team dropped the baton when Kai Yuan passed to Shermin & they got 4th in their heat
3)Purveen lost to ex track and field runner from Canberra, Farhana, by a lot in the 60m event
4)Jeanette won the twins in the 60m and stole the limelight from everyone in the 300m race
5)Farhana won 1st again for the 300m race

Real bad right?Anyway we saw Sakinah and Liang qi. They were marshalls. Syafiqah was soooo mad at Liang Qi as he wished her,"Hope you lose" before her 300m race. When she crossed the stand I could see her face with an angry look though not too obvious. She came in 3rd in her race. =p =p =p =p I don't mean her. I mean the rain......

Now I'm looking forward to the nationals in July.(Yippie......=)=D) We must win CHIJ Katong and Red Swastika at all costs. I don't mean underhand means, well you know what I mean. I will stop blaming the rain. Perhaps it was because we were not prepared that's why God sent the rain. Yawns......=o I have to catch my forty winls now, so cya =)
